Seventeen years with one water filter company. Here's why I'm still here.

Joe Borowy. Multipure Advocate #424074 since 2009, National Network Director, Founders' Circle and Executive Council. This is my story, in my words, and what I'll do for you if you enroll on my team.

How I got here

I joined Multipure in 2009. I was already interested in water filtration, and affiliate marketing was still rather new at that moment in time. I was excited to partner with a good brand that was made in the USA and had the highest quality product of its kind.

I started finding different ways to sell it, from personal referrals to internet marketing, and that evolved over the years. Later on I found ways to connect with people and influencers who were looking for Multipure-type products to sell to other people, and I started focusing on building a network. I still sell systems, but network building and educating is my focus today.

Where I stand

Multipure's 2026 Recognition booklet lists me as a Founders' Circle member and an Executive Council member. Executive Council means an active Founders' Circle member at Network Director or above with more than $1 million in network sales. I say that so you know the advice here comes from someone the plan has actually worked for.

Customers for life, in practice

One of the biggest perks for me: once someone is in the Multipure ecosystem, they're your customer for life. I've had people reorder filters for years, and then buy a whole new system for a new house years later, and I hadn't even talked to them. I've had people upgrade from a lower-end model to a higher-end model. I didn't talk to them either. I got paid on those, and those are big, multi-hundred-dollar commissions. The residual income is the key to this whole thing.

What one good enrollment did

I've enrolled a few dozen Advocates over the years. Some of them didn't produce much. One of them sold thousands and thousands of Multipure systems. I get hundreds of dollars in recurring income every month from just that Advocate's customers' replacement filter orders. They keep producing, and some of those customers come back and buy new units. I've probably made over $100,000 on that one Advocate alone. Once you get somebody in, it's passive.

The chart and the earnings figures displayed do not constitute a promise or guarantee of income. The success and potential earnings of a Multipure Independent Builder are dependent upon various factors including, but not limited to, business skill, communication ability, interpersonal relations, work effort, and market conditions. Multipure does not guarantee any level of income or success.

Why it's easy to run

The Advocate business is pretty easy and passive overall, because Multipure has a great support staff. They handle all the technical support. As long as the customer is locked to you, the customer just deals with Multipure. You don't have to do anything in terms of support, training, or anything like that. Multipure handles all of it, and the commissions are pretty generous.

The product stands up on the open marketplace too. Compare quality for the price against other filter systems, with the NSF certifications and the stainless steel construction, and it holds its own with anyone.

How I find customers

Two ways. Word of mouth: I meet people who would be a good fit for it, tell them about it, and it's a pretty easy sell. And connecting with people online who have a need for water filtration.

What October 1 changes, in practice

It makes it easier for influencers, or anybody with an audience or a network, to start making money with this immediately, with less red tape. It's no longer gatekept behind a purchase requirement the way it used to be.

Who the influencer path is for

Anyone with an audience or a network that has an interest in health, wellness, and the highest quality made-in-the-USA water filtration.

What I'll do for you if you enroll under me

"I'm not going to run your business for you. I'm a point of contact. If you have questions, email or text me and I'll answer them."

That's the deal, and it's more than you get enrolling from a corporate page, where your sponsor is whoever the rotation lands on. Mine is a person who's been doing this since 2009 and picks up.
