Questions people ask before they enroll
Short answers, each from Multipure's published documents or the October 1, 2026 notice.
Program details current as of October 4, 2026.
Is a Multipure Builder the same as a Multipure Advocate?
Yes. Multipure renamed its Independent Builders to Independent Advocates on October 1, 2026. Existing Builders became Advocates, and new people now enroll as Advocates: free, with no purchase required.
Can I still become a Multipure distributor?
Yes. Multipure's independent sales role is called an Independent Advocate (Independent Builder before October 1, 2026). You don't buy inventory or a territory; customers order from Multipure and the sale is credited to you. It's open in the United States, U.S. territories and Canada.
How much does it cost to become a Multipure Advocate?
Nothing. Since October 1, 2026 registration is free and includes Back Office Basic. The old $50 fee is gone. Back Office Pro is an optional paid upgrade.
Do I have to buy a water system to join or to earn?
No. The requirement to buy your own system and the First Purchase Requirement (where your sponsor took the commission on your first sale) were both eliminated on October 1, 2026. You earn on your first sale.
How and when am I paid?
Through ADP WorkMarket: direct deposit, PayPal, or Wisely card (Wisely isn't available in Canada). Monthly for most Advocates; weekly on Fridays for Master rank and above after three months active. $25 minimum. U.S. Advocates get a 1099 at $600 or more a year.
Can I do this in Canada?
Yes. The program covers the United States, U.S. territories and Canada. Selling or sponsoring anywhere else isn't permitted.
What is PAR?
The Personal Activity Requirement: $180 of commissionable sales of drinking water systems or Bath & Garden products in a rolling three-month window. Meet it and you're paid on three levels of systems and up to ten of filters; miss it and you're paid on your own sales and your own customers' filter reorders until you sell again.
What if my sponsor quits?
Your commissions are paid on your own sales, your own customers' filters and your own network, and depend on your PAR status, not your sponsor's. Sponsor assignment is permanent under Multipure's Terms, so it's worth choosing one who's been around; yours here has been in since 2009.
Can I have my own website or social account for this?
Yes, inside Multipure's guidelines: sites using the Multipure name, products or photos are approved by Multipure Marketing first, "Multipure" can't be in your domain or email, you identify as an Independent Advocate at the top of your advertising, MSRP only, and contaminant claims say "reduces" or "filters," never "removes."
How do customers get credited to me?
An Automatic Coupon Link (any multipure.com URL with ?coupon= and your Advocate ID on the end) gives the customer 5% off and credits you the sale, or they type your registered discount code. Once assigned, the customer is yours for future system and filter purchases.
How do social media followers count toward rank?
Since October 1, 2026 followers are an additional path to Senior and Master rank alongside sales volume. Senior is 500 followers. Multipure's sign-up form asks for your primary social handle and preferred platform, so include them when you enroll.
Is sponsor assignment really permanent?
Yes, in practice. Multipure's Terms don't allow a transfer to another sponsor without written authorization from the original sponsor, the new sponsor and Multipure.
Can I do this outside the U.S. and Canada?
The Advocate opportunity is limited to the United States, U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, and Canada.
What does enrolling through this site change?
Only your sponsor. You still enroll on Multipure's own site, and the product, pricing and plan are identical. Entering Joe Borowy's Advocate ID, 424074, in the sponsor field puts you on his team: an Executive Council member, in the program since 2009, who answers his email.
