Is Multipure legit?
A 56-year-old family-led manufacturer, founded in California and headquartered in Las Vegas, with filters certified by NSF and a warranty that lasts a lifetime. Here's the record, then the program measured against the usual warning signs.
Program details current as of October 4, 2026.
The company
- Founded 1970 in California by brothers H. Allen Rice and Alvin E. Rice; later moved to Las Vegas. Solid carbon block filter developed in 1974.
- 7251 Cathedral Rock Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada. President: Zachary Rice, MBA.
- The Advocate opportunity is limited to the United States, U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, and Canada.
The certifications
NSF/ANSI 42 (aesthetic effects), 53 (health effects) and 401 (emerging contaminants) on the drinking water systems; P231 (microbiological purifier, bacteria and viruses) on the Aqualuxe and Aquapremier. 85+ contaminants including lead, mercury, cysts, VOCs, PFOA/PFOS, pharmaceuticals and microplastics. NSF certification means third-party testing that the claims are true, not a "best" ranking, and Multipure's own guidelines stop Advocates from claiming one.

How Multipure polices its own people
Websites using the Multipure name need Marketing's approval. Unsanctioned discounts and "removes" claims are banned. The income disclaimer is required on earnings material. Every Advocate identifies as independent at the top of their advertising. That's why you see the line at the top of this page and no prices on it.
Whether it's worth your time is a different question. Joe's story answers that from 17 years inside.
